Welcome to the Kersch-Becker Lab

Our lab investigates the chemical and ecological mechanisms that drive interactions among plants, arthropods, and their environment. We focus on how chemical signals influence multitrophic species interactions, population dynamics, and community structure. By combining field and laboratory experiments with analytical chemistry, microbiome analysis, and quantitative methods, we aim to reveal the processes that shape ecological communities and inform conservation and pest management strategies.
